Perspective love, you've done a lot this year, one slip doesn't make a trend.

I did wonder whether you thought spellbound was on tonight.
It's on the 7th :-)
I'm feeling OK again now, but let me know if you get bored, and we could still do something.
Did you get that track ok?
I was worried it might get spam filterted out.

When my brain goes fuzzy for whatever reason (hormones, hunger, lack of sleep, stress, etc etc) one of the side effects is not being able to think properly at the time, so not being able to work out why the hell I'm feeling that way.

I guess if you don't do moderation and aren't likely to stop for good in the near future then maybe you need a home care kit with a load of stuff that will help make you feel better in it - milk thistle, dextrosol, painkillers, and all that. Might help alleviate the gremlins after a heavy weekend. I put a lot of my alchohol-related snappiness and depression down to low blood sugar and lack of sleep, and you can do stuff about that.

I guess you're right that it's unrealistic for you to drop drink completely, however it might be possible for you to moderate the amount you drink and thus not feel so depressed later.

So in no way an attempt to cheer you up, but merely reveal my inner-geek, I shall leave you with a comment I've always liked:-

"Life, loathe it or ignore it, you can't like it."
