Wandering up to the top deck with a book in hand, Akaya headed to one of the shaded areas. He wasn't sure how soon things would start, or how talkative anyone would be. Seeing Kamio already there, Akaya wandered over to say hello. "Hey Speedy, I didn't miss anything yet did I?"

Kamio turned at the nickname and smiled at the new arrival. "Hey, Kirihara. How's that foot doing?" He nodded over to the two players who had just made their way on deck. "Nah. They just got here. I don't think it will start for a few more minutes or so. I was just about to get something to drink. You want anything?"

"It's doing much better. I can't wait to see Momo lose. Not because I hate him, but because he's going to." Akaya chuckled a bit as he twirled his cane between his hands. At the offer of a drink, he smiled at Kamio. "Sure, I wouldn't refuse some iced tea. Thanks."

Kamio laughed. "My money is on a draw, only because these last few weeks on the boat have taought me not to underestimate the power of stupidity coming from that man," he said nodding in Momo's direction. He went over and ordered the drinks, bringing them back and handing the tea over to Kirihara. "I just hope this lasts more than a couple of minutes. That would be a let down."

Taking the tea from Kamio, Akaya laughed. "I suppose that's true. But still, I imagine that Kikumaru must be pretty strong and tough if he's a professional stunt man. I'm kind of counting on malnutrition to have weakened Momo so that he loses. But if he wins, then let's just hope he doesn't blow all of his winnings in one place."

He shrugged. "I'm expecting An-chan or Oishi-san to come in and finally pull them apart. An wasn't happy with me when she found out I put money on this. Oh well. If Momo does win, I can just claim charity on it."

Momoshiro furiously whipped his head towards the two men sitting at the table.

"I can both hear you, you know!" He shook his fist at them. "Beware for spiders at night, Kirihara!"

Kamio turned his head at the voice and smiled. "Hey, be sure to give us a good show, will you?"

"Haha, that wouldn't shock me either. And claiming charity is good for your karma, so I'm good with that."

"Yeah, it's good on your taxes, too."

Momoshiro cocked his head to the side. "How much are we talking about here?"

Kamio shrugged. "It depends on how much you play it up. From what I can tell from the journals, hobos make more money than you right now!"
