I know. Uhg. 2009 I disliked at first. I got used to it, but...no blocking contacts? No display names? No handwriting?

Microsoft has gone insane.

Does Messenger stop working after a few months? God I hope not. Hopefully everyone will complain to Microsoft and they'll fix this BS.

Edit: Apparently XP users can't use 2011 at all, so I don't think they will end Live 2009 for a while.

At least I hope that. If Live stops working, I switch to pidgin immediately.

Really? Because I still have Live 2009, built 14.a whole bunch of numbers. I haven't gotten an update thing...ever. And my laptop is a Vista one.

Well, I sent a complain to Microsoft about how they are sucking all the things I loved about it out, so maybe they will listen...

...That is such a load of BS, Microsoft. I could maybe understand them pulling a few things, but...these?? Seriously? Those are some of the most popular/useful features.

Microsoft = completely missed the point.

Well, everyone complained about Vista, and they fixed it in Windows 7 (I personally have no problem with Vista, I hope my laptop lives forever OTL), so maybe they will listen to everyone complaining about Live 2011.

Screw messenger all together. I only log in MS a couple of time per year. However this month MS keep refusing to let me log in. Changing my PW and reinstalling the program don't help. I can only log in while I'm in my hotmail.

Full installer would be the best option. Unless the article is lying, this should be Essentials 2009.
