Walking can be hazardous to your health

Aug 25, 2009 08:42

Tripped on the sidewalk yesterday and made a five-point landing. Right knee and chin (!) still very sore. Right wrist less so. Left side of body appears to be fine after rest.

Maggie got a lot of pillows thrown at her last night because she regards my knees as a summit to be conquered.

I'm going to attempt a shower and ice the knee again

omggg i am glad you are ok! i am so clumsy i do stuff like this all the time. my shins and thighs always look like i am a battered wife with all the stuff i trip over and run into. you would think being so short i wouldnt have this problem since im closer to the ground to see!

Klutzes of the world, unite! (I bruise easily, as well.)

I am sporting the equivalent of a shiner on my chin. I am debating whether to try to find my MAC powder or brave it out ;).

brave it out and tell people you got in a fistfight with a shark. whenever i have super obvious upperbody/face bruises i just make up silly stories. if I try to hide it people always take me aside and get all IS DADDY BEATING YOU or something.

i have actually given myself black eyes from running into doors MULTIPLE times, tho i am more notorious in this household for running into trees. we have these small ornamental fig trees in our yard, and sometimes chasing the chickens i forget that the branch clearance is extremely low and will run RIGHT into it trying to dodge for the chooks.
