i love easter vigil. holy sat mass is my favorite mass of the year.

Mine too (although we usually have ours on Sunday). We hear the whole story.

We have a potluck breakfast after Vigil with ham and champagne laid on by the parish.

Thanks for your lovely post last night, I was avoiding commenting because I was still in-between ... one of the consequences of living in one of the last time zones to celebrate Easter. (And having a morning, not an evening, Vigil.)
