Took the bus to Hue with a bunch of backpackers, which was fun, bad weather, but you can't beat a mountanous road in an old soviet bus! Met a bunch of brits and canadians...... a few french as well ( Read more... )

Yup that's where I am, - although I'm seeing a few of them. Glad my posting made sence, I've had a few Tiger's toomany, and the Internet cafes playing a mega fast techno version of No Limits!

Sorry!, was only in Saigon for a bit, and didn't get down to the Mekong.
You can buy AK47's etc dirt cheap on the Cambodian side of the border, so that's the place.
Then we could ship it back afterwards, and pubcrawl it down the Thames

Just chatting to a mate out here.
You can take a boat up the Mekong Delta to Phnon Penh and further, but it's still bandit country, and they got shot at.
As for the boats, there maybe one in a museam, or they may be rotting or in use as fishing boats, but they havn't seen any.
