Cartoon Coverings - A Maxis Matchy Skinblend!
So, I'm starting to collect things for a Maxis Match-ish game, but I couldn't find any skins that were ~perfect~ for me, because I am ridiculously picky/neurotic. Nothing would do but that I made my very own, which was... daunting. But, though following some very nice tutorials found on GoS (and starting over about a billion times), I managed to come up with:
It's a base of Lilith's Feathers skin with a smidge of Pyxis's Venice skin sprinkled throughout the face and body. The nose and mouth corners are from SakuraJane's Simple Skin Set and the colors are 10 of Trapping's color actions.
I swear these two are different! Midday has a little bit more of a yellow undertone.
If you choose to download the default set, Light Rose is S1.
Beach also made it into the default file, as S2.
Sunset is S3 and Moonlit Night is S4. Dreamland was GOING to be S4, but it is a leeettle beeet more pixelated than Moonlit Night (not nearly as bad as it looked in Bodyshop, or even CAS), so the later won out. (ETA: Dreamland default down in the comments!)
So, here's all the boring set info talk time! There are three different downloads. The custom one is just that, custom. It includes a numbered swatch for your deleting convenience. The geneticized version is ALSO townified. It includes the same numbered swatch, as well as info on the genetic values of each skin. Don't get both the geneticized AND the custom! Just one or the other. The default file has numbered swatches as well. If you want a specific color defaulted to a specific skin, let me know, as I still have all the files.
Oh! One other bit and I promise I'll just give you the links and stop talking. They don't have different fat/fit states. I was going to add them in, but omg. I can't even. No. And then I realized that like... none of the skins that I've used in the recent past have had them either. And that helped me to rationalize my laziness. Also, they have NOT been Compressorized, because I don't use it/have it downloaded. So... if you do use it, you may wanna run these through. Cause they're big.
P.S. The skins do have nipples, but are otherwise smooth and Barbie.
