16 Maxis Match Hair Defaults!
So, it's been about a year. Funny how that happens. After a reinstall (both windows AND sims) I figure it's about time to get back into the groove. In my neverending quest to have The Perfect Game, I decided I needed some hair defaults. Buuut I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so here we are again!
Okay, so first and foremost, all of these hairs use Remi's textures and colors. I like to be consistent like that. Credits for the retextures used go to all of these creators: selenaq13, vadie, poppet_sims, remisims, monsterglitter, Sarcastic Pizza, and joedy_76. I'll let you know which hairs go to who so it's not like some sort of impossible match up/guessing game. I'm putting the poly counts in for full disclosure. Please be aware, I did not consult the polys before I chose the hair. So some of them are low, and some of them are... not.
First up! This one is from Poppet. It only replaces the adult purple band ponytail. The teen one (which is all lonesome by itself, band color-wise) is defaulted a little bit further on in this post. The poly count for this one is 5432. (Original)

This one is by monsterglitter. It replaces the yellow band ponytail. The poly count is 11224. ( Original)

This hair replaces the red band. It's by selenaq13, and the poly count is 11766. (Original)

This hair is by Remi. It replaces the green band and has 4320 polys. Oh, for whatever reason, the file size on this one is straight up ridiculous. Don't know why, all of the other ones are decent. It's just this little guy. (Original)

Last for the af ponypuffs is this one by Selenaq13. It replaces the blue band. It's poly count is 8322. (Original)

Here is the aforementioned tf ponypuff replacement. It's, of course, by Poppet, and the poly count is the same as the adult. The reason this is all by itself is because it requires the Teen Style Stuff Pack, instead of the Apartment Life expansion. I kept it the same as the purple one because the band on this one is also purple and I like consistency :D

Next up is this beautiful hair by selenaq13! Its poly count is the largest in this bunch at 13965. ( Original edit at the bottom!)

This hair, from selenaq13, replaces the child, teen, and adult wreath hairs. The poly count averages about 8760ish bewtween all three ages. ( Original)

This one's from Poppet. It replaces both the teen and the adult version of the Brandi Broke hair. The poly count is 6250. (Original)

This one is going to take some explaining. Firstly, it's my very first hair retexture! Secondly, there are two unnatural custom colors that you can find in game by changing appearance in a mirror. Those two colors have been replaced with the following:
I've got both a default and a non-default download for these. There is a slight issue with the default version. If you're in CAS (or Bodyshop) and you select this hair with any color, everything's fine. But, if you cycle through the colors to black, it goes back to the original mesh for whatever reason. You can click the black color of it, and it works just fine, you just can't switch to it from another color without manually selecting it. AND, the weirdest/most frustrating part is that it ONLY happens for the young adult age. Every other age is fine. I don't have a stinking clue what's going on with it. I've poked and prodded and come up with nothing. So. There's that. Oh, also the poly cont is 2940, which is pretty awesome for such a cute hair. I guess we should have some download links now *cough*
