Happy Valentine's Day, folks!

Anyhoo, as a V-Day gift and as a way to hopefully give myself something to do, I've stolen this writing meme thing from slartibartfast and...well, the first five comments for sure, but I may keep going.

"The thing is that there's a lot of assholes in the world," Gerard says earnestly to Kurt, flapping one hand in Frankie's direction while the other reaches for a muffin, "but you can't ever let them bring you down like they want to, the most effective weapon against them is holding your head up high, looking them in the eye as you say 'fuck you.'"

"Wow," Kurt says, laughing a little. "This was definitely not how I thought my morning would go today."

"That's Gerard for you," Ray says, and Frank snorts.

"Yeah," he says, grinning at Gerard. "Sometimes you just gotta sing it out."

"Dude," Mikey says, a week later, looking up from his laptop. "Remember that kid Kurt from Ohio? He sent us a video."

They crowd around the computer, and Gerard fucking beams and squeezes Frank close as the opening chords of SING start up.

YAAAAY I'M GLAD YOU LIKED IT ♥ TBQH, it was HELL keeping it to 865 words, haha. Gerard just kept wanting to TALK and Frankie kept describing everyone, haha.

Kurt and Gee have so much in common, which I only really began to realize when I was writing, and then it was like, "Dude, Kurt could totally turn into a Gee protege, only with more showers."

CUDDLY BAND IS CUDDLY. :D

I would totally not have protested if it'd gone past that. I SHOULD HAVE SAID 999 WORDS. Drat.
