Someone save me from gay vampires who don't seem to want to have sex!

I changed my mind on what I was writing for the connotations zine (Tem kindly gave me an extension to finish it) and I'm writing Lair fic. Well it's irresistable: pretty men, so often naked, with fangs and so many plot holes you can drive a bus through them. It's a fanfic writer's dream :D ( Read more... )

It's funny how finicky muses can be. I'm writing a Hellboy story currently. The plot went great, then I got to the sex and I came to a screeching halt. Apparently they'd rather tease me with almosts than actually have sex. Good luck with your sex. :P

Thank you ... although taken out of context, that becomes a far naughtier sentence ;).

You'd think horny muses would be down with the sex wouldn't you, but I'm sure they exist to drive us batty :) Hope the Hellboy muses start to play ball for you.

Haha, very true. I'm surprised I didn't realize it as I typed it, but I can blame it on being tired. I don't think I've ever met anyone with a muse that does what they want all the time. You start writing and have things all nicely planned out, and all of a sudden your muse hijacks your writing, and you're like o.O where did that come from? :P

LOL - that's a very good question :D Wait until you've seen the eps - then you'll see how preposterous it is that they refuse to get on with it! ;)

I have a theory that it has to do with those plot holes big enough to drive a truck through. now that they actually have the chance at plot the characters refuse to put out until they have one. XD
