Did they see a plastic mannequin put on display for them? A clothes horse paraded out into the lime light for the photographers and then wound up to sing for them like some giant toy?

The whole first part of this was so evocative. I would imagine that every celebrity in the world, even if they enjoy their fame, feels exactly like this at times. And you described it so well.

He felt his body stirring as he recalled the almost desperate removal of clothes, the animalistic desire that had almost destroyed one of his favourite shirts.

MMMMMMM! Frantic sex. That's so yummy!

Looking at himself in the mirror he saw aesthetic perfection created by hard work, sacrifice and the expertise of many people, in his heart he knew true perfection created by love, desire and kindred spirits.

I love, love, LOVE that line. It's absolutely beautiful. And the ending was perfect and gave me a huge smile for the day! *hugs you*

Intense :) A bit more contemplative than I can fully appreciate with my current exhaustion (over nine hours of work behind, one still ahead), but there was good stuff there :) I was just thinking about Gackt and Hyde and then I saw you had written today's fic of them (I've only read the posting order when you first posted it), it was great :)

Thanks :) It's getting better but I'm so much waiting for next Sunday when I'll have my first day off for weeks... only three free days a month added with occasional eleven-hour days are starting to wear me down a bit :P At least next month should be better :)
