Series Fics Timo heard a door slam and stuck his head out of the break room just in time to see Linke legging it down the corridor and through another door. It was clear Linke had come from the studio and, at the rate of knots his friend had been moving, he had a suspicion about what was going on. Linke had been in the studio with David and there were only two reasons anyone ever ran like that away from David. Since there was not an irate David appearing through the recently closed door that ruled out possibility one, which was that Linke had pissed David off royally. That just left possibility two and Timo walked towards the studio door, pretty sure what he would find.
When he opened the door, he was greeted by loud giggling and he winced as he realised he had been right.
There were two things no one fed David in any quantities: alcohol and neat sugar. Alcohol because David didn't like it, about his limit was Tiramisu, and sugar because David had a metabolism that was so fast anything hit his system instantly and most people's sugar highs had nothing on David's. Normally David was aware of his limits and would eat sweets and candy a little, but not too much, however, when he was working, David sometimes forgot what else he was doing.
They had had a big box of sweets in the corner of the studio to keep them going when they worked really late and, to his dismay, Timo realised that it was a good half empty. One look at David told him where it had all gone.
His friend grinned at him with that breathtakingly beautiful smile and just an edge of mischief. When David was high on sugar he could be just a little evil, which explained Linke's sharp exit.
"You tried to feel him up again, didn't you?" Timo said in a put upon tone.
David just grinned even more. David knew all of their weaknesses and when David was on a high, David liked to play. Timo was about the only one who would voluntarily stay with David when he was like this.
"One day he is going to figure out he's not totally straight," David said, all but bouncing over to him.
"And what are you going to do if he does one day turn around and grope back?" Timo asked as David began playing with the front of his t-shirt.
"Give as good as I get," David replied and tried to pull him closer, "it is only Linke after all. You could watch if you like."
They had been lovers since they were fourteen and the rest of the band knew it, but that didn't mean David wasn't an outrageous flirt when he felt like it. Timo was the jealous type, but knew David well enough not to be worried by anything David did under the influence of forbidden substances like pure sugar. The fact that they had talked about a threesome and agreed it might be fun helped matters along as well. If Linke ever did give in, Timo had plans to do more than watch.
"You're such a slut," Timo said and smiled just a little.
"Your slut," David replied and kissed him on the nose before bouncing away.
Definitely a serious sugar high, Timo had no doubt at all; he was going to have to intervene. With one hand he flicked on the sign above the door that said recording, so that no one would come in, and then he followed David further into the room.
"You're dangerous like this," he said, catching David's arm and pulling David to face him; "I really can't just let you wander around."
At that David's eyes were alight with delight.
"So what are you going to do with me?" David asked and Timo caught his boyfriend's hand when David made a good attempt to grope him.
"Well first," Timo said, pulling David in close so that David couldn't move, "I really have to pin you down."
With a swift hitch of his leg he had David completely at his mercy and was lowering his lover to the floor; it wasn't as if it was the first time he'd used such a move.
"You're a danger to yourself and to other people like this," he continued, deliberately straddling his now prone other half and taking David's hands and pinning them either side of his head. "It would be irresponsible of me to let you go."
David blinked up at him, face suddenly all innocent.
"Are you just going to hold me prisoner?" David asked him and wiggled his hips in a way that made Timo want to groan loudly.
"Oh no," he said, leaning down so they were nose to nose, "I'm going to have my wicked way with you. You're going to be coming before coming down, and that's a promise."
Then he demanded a kiss and swallowed whatever smart reply David had been thinking up. There were some things to be said for sugar; some definite plus points.

Franky stood outside the studio door looking at the light, just a little confused. David had called him less than twenty minutes before and told him to get his arse down to the studio to lay down the final part of the vocal track they had been working on for the new single. When David used the tone he had used, a person either moved straight away or died in a futile attempt to get away from David's wrath, which was why Franky was rather surprised not to be able to get into the studio. He knew Linke and David had just about finished when he had been called.
"You don't want to go in there," a voice said from behind him and he half turned to see Linke standing in the corridor.
That confused him even more.
"If you're out here, what's going on in there?" he asked, since he did not appreciate being dragged away from what had been a good lunch when there was no need.
"David got into the sweet stash and forgot how much he had eaten," was all Linke said and headed into the break room.
Franky felt himself go pale and backed away from the studio door. Last time David had been on a sugar high he had chased him around the band house with those ridiculous red shorts the management had made him wear to that outward bound publicity thing, trying to make him put them on. He still had no idea how David had got his hands on them, but he never, ever wanted to go through that again.
"I'll come back later," he decided and pertinently followed Linke.
