Oh, grump! (Weekend report, but I lost it the first time)

“The application Xjournal has unexpectedly quit.” That’s what I got two-thirds of the way through composing my report on the weekend, and I’m just about out of steam, so this version is going to be much shorter.
(Bummer; Xjournal makes lots of LJ-specific HTML a lot easier.) Friday: Date with cathijosephine that snowballed into a yummy dinner with docorion, mud_puppy, xmelancholia, and zzbottomRead more... )

Sorry? Nothing to be sorry about! I had a blast, and I was so glad that you and zzbottom were there!

Just because something has the inevitability of a force of nature doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing! :-)

Hee! It's my character Halloran. I had X'Ana draw him in a kilt.... people asked if House Bartomn was somehow related to Scotland, if there was a Deeper Meaning, and I said "No, I just really like hot guys in kilts!"

Got fitted for a Utilikilt, which I’ve wanted for a while.

Moi aussi. I figured if they're going to put the effort into supporting Pride I can put some dollars into supporting them. All good around.

What's funny is that I was wearing my Poly Pride shirt and they mentioned they had "just had another guy in" wearing the shirt. Their description of you was quite terrible, but Zeph set me straight when I later relayed the story.

I’d be highly amused (and not at all offended, unless they described me as a Republican) to hear the description.

I would never laugh at someone getting up at 5:15 -- I'm still willing
to consider that early. But for a good cause.
And speaking of which, am glad to see you're trying the Utilikilt. I
think it's an interesting concept. And, as I found at the Jubilee Olde
English Fair, kilts are cooler on a hot (103-degrees on the flats) day
than a lot of other medieval wear. And the Utilikilt has more and
better pockets! Hope you like it, and we're awaiting a picture.
More anon,
Love from Bofus,
Don
