The memo reached Cuddy as she was about to leave. After doing a double take the reality of the situation could not be disputed anymore.
Thirty bits of paper were lying on and around her desk when she finally had a memo that she could send.
Dr. Benson-
Thank you for notifying me. I won't shoot the messenger. I will need to speak to you and assess the situation, if you please take the time at your earliest convenience.
Benson was gone for the weekend. So he wouldn't get the memo until Monday. Jussstt like he planned. Yes, he was shirking his duties for a bit, but Cuddy didn't need to know that. :D
Cuddy had waited for a response. A memo, a call, anything. After an hour and a half she gave up and rang his extension. When no one answered she almost slammed the receiver back on the phone, even more irate than before.
