It is incredibly easy to find him. Firstly, he's in the public domain so Project Gutenberg has him. :)
Also, rather like the Little Red Book in PR China, each Scottish child is at sometime given a small book of Burn poetry. At least, that's how it was twenty years ago, when my family spent time with a family from the Highlands.
As to the actual ability to read Burns... better find a Scots-English dictionary!
There's always a bunch of authors that I always intend to read but never get around to for some reason...I think it's cool that Scotland has Burns night (I think it's in Nov). :-D
