This feels weird to feel but I am actually looking forward to a Ben Affleck film since I read this Wired article on the origins of the plot. Basically, during the Iran Hostage Crisis, six embassy workers managed to escape and hide out at the Canadian Embassy for a couple of months until the CIA orchestrated an escape plan involving a fake science

I've only read a handful of this year's yuletide fics so I feel hopelessly behind, but I hope you had a lovely northern hemisphere Christmas. :)

I had a great Christmas but as my friend's tiny kitchen was really hot and stuffy, it wasn't too different from what I've experienced in Australia!

Though we did chill the wine by putting it on the window sill. That was new.
