6 death's over a course of such of short time is a little frightening, especially due to the fact they're so healthy. i asked my doctor last night if I need an EKG, he said it probably wasn't necessary. he said that if I were to have an "incident", I surely would've had one already. not sure what he meant by that...

but i'm wondering how these people assumed they were "experienced" runners or "training properly". Even though it may be on record that they registered for various races and finished with certain times only prove those two points (that they registered and completed the course in a certain time). It makes no statements on how they trained.

But looking at their times, they seemed to be doing pretty well. I'm wondering if maybe they pushed themselves too hard or didn't get enough hydration?
