I sort of expected a brighter color for the background. I love that they went with the classic-style logo from my sketch that I was too lazy to do a finished version of, though.

I hadn't seen this cover until I found it online. I kind of love it. It's probably my second favorite after #4.

Issue 4 was about as funny as a comic can be in my opinion. It had jokes on all levels, and an insane amount of great riffing on underwater characters and the nature of giant epic events, and so much more. You guys are absolutely hitting it out of the park (I am told that is a sports metaphor of some sort) every time so far.

Also, there really is a big difference in using a character on a recurring basis in the series they were created for, and just sticking your pet character in everything.
