Aahhhh, I love this sort of fic ♥ And I liked that there was sadness and that the relationship between them was still broken and hurting at first because them rebuilding and repairing really paralleled the renovation of the house. You showed nicely that in both cases that it's possible to salvage the past, and to make it solid and beautiful again--and I like that you did so with a slow sort of rebuilding, step by step, that felt very realistic.

And it all was cute and sweet and charming, and just makes me smile and feel really awesome about their future together. ♥ :) I like that they get each other, home, future, and a grandmotherly family figure to boot. :)

This is so much win I don't even know how to classify it! I love every bit of this. ♥ I definitely felt the slowburn of Sam's feelings and the way everything built back up, and Dean's actions were so confusing and hesitant that it felt real, like something anybody would do in his situation. :)

And Lorraine is just a peach. *laughs*

I'm going to badger everyone on my flist until they come read and love this too. :D

I think after we've seen Dean deal with Sam's betrayal on the show, it's only natural that he'd have a really hard time getting back together with Sam and learning to trust him again. It gets even harder when you were a lot more involved than just brothers.

The boys sounds so much like them this season, the angst and the mixed signals and them not really know what to do and how to deal with things makes this so authentic.
