*sigh* Young Life's not even a charity, really. It's just a youth ministry, of sorts. You know the type of kids that participate in that program? Mostly rich kids and/or spoiled brats, who just want to get out of Mommy's house, and look good while doing it. At least that's what it is here.

Yuck. I think this makes it even worse. I always put it down as me being a non-believer, but yeah, I can't see the good cause in introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and help(ing) them grow in their faith. :(

Once again, Fandom horrifies me. Oh GOD. I just have no words left to express my feelings. It's embarassing.

I JUST found out about this Derby (I was like, woah, how did I miss something that was apparently a BIG F-ING DEAL in fandom? *scratches head*) BUT then I watched the videos. And I LOL'd. A LOT. And maybe posted one *hides*

Also, my first thought when I saw that they were in little cans of Red Bull was, "Will Jared need to fold himself IN HALF to fit in that?!" Tee.

There wasn't all that much coverage about it beforehand to be honest. I think people only found out very shortly before it that it was even gonna happen.

Jared fitting himself in that tiny thing was priceless though. :D

I know! I mean, if I feel like I should donate money, shouldn't I choose the charity that's right for me and not just because I want to please some celebrity? It's very weird.

Oh man, you didn't know? AHHHH! I only found out very shortly before that too but if I had known that you didn't know, I would have told you. Man. :( I shall keep you more up to date from now on.

Let's start with today's news: Jensen and Jared live together. In Jared's house I assume. I kid you not.

You'd think that, right? The whole thing was based on a very old interview of Jensen, where he was young and innocent. *g* Anyway, the fandom pressure was enough to make the people involved reconsider and now they're giving the money to Doctors without Borders and a hospital - the charities Jensen and Jared gave their soapbox prize money to.

Ahaha, I know. There's nothing BUT the news on my flist today. I'm surprised there is no fic about it.
