A bad christmas

Well it's christmas and so it's the first day since i've been in america that i haven't been doing work experiece which kind of sucks because i really could use something to distract me today. I really really miss being away from my friends, though that did ring me this morning and scream christmas carrolls down the phone at me which was fun

Aww thanks Jen- I hope that yours was good :) I just sort of spent my day moping around the house in pjs and eating cheese on toast :P

Awww. *grins* How about New Year? Any plans there? We'll be spending it with my mother-in-law, who's Japanese so expects family time that night. Which is fine with me, I'm not one for going out to parties a great deal. :)

Aww see I'm the opposite- I love going out to parties- generally there's like four of us who all hang out together and since we're all relatively young we don't really have family commitments so if I was in England no doubt we'd be doing a pub crawl or something. But I'm still in NY until the 4th of Jan so I miss New Years and I don't exactly know anyone here so it'll be another night in for me- i'll probably wait up to ring my friends when it hits New Years in the UK.

Is your hubby japanese then- that's quite cool. Was it a bit of a culture shock when you first moved out there?
