Day 8, August 17: East of Dalas to Burmingham, AL via Southern Living Idea House and Dreamland BBQ

We woke up at our Days Inn and got a southern breakfast at Cracker Barrel, then hit the road. It was an uneventful morning until we began seeing signs for the “2005 Southern Living Idea House”; we had to see what it was. We took the exit and followed signs rambling away from the interstate for about three miles until we arrived at a housing
