Fuck... That sounds so horrible.
Is it common for them to grow out? They look great but look painful and after reading that, I doubt I would get one.

Yep, it's what happens, the piercer made sure I knew it wasn't going to be permanent before she did it. Because they're so close to the skin they just grow right out.
It did look great but I'm not sure it was worth the $90 for just under six months.
