Once again, your world-building blows me away - you can feel the depth and the breadth of both mens' back stories here, and how they fit into this world. The image of little Sherlock in so much pain that he has his heart removed, and then the fact that that pain returns to his heart with Moriarty's revelation - oh my! Takes John and Sherlock's entwinement to a whole new level.
