What an unbelievable ride. The way you thickened the atmosphere of helplessness and despair right before the final twist (and then, oh, the twist itself) -- just a tour de force. Thank you for finishing this installation before your own (brief) hiatus. I am glad that you plan to do more with all this careful, tantalizing worldbuilding.

That was excellent. I had no idea how this was going to play out, but Sherlock managed to defeat Moriarty and this alone pleases me very much. I'm so glad they're now heading west AND especially that there will be more.

Good eye, good eye. And if there are any questions from this fic that don't get answered in the following fic, poke me, okay?

So, does John love Sherlock, is he just running for his life, now, or is it some of both? He's got to be pretty pissed off about having his life taken over and his loved ones threatened by vamps; how's he going to feel about Sherlock and his vamp-run homeland, now? Does he go?

Questions like these, yep. It's a whole lot of complicated.
