Okay, clearly the mindfuck warning is well deserved. John's reactions were chilling, particularly the comments mocking Sherlock that sounded just like Moriarty. And damn it if that isn't another echo from the series, this time from the pool scene - you weave those in so well that I'm probably missing half of them.

But what really impresses me is how you've written Sherlock here, still observing and fighting even at his lowest point. Looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering if the warnings were actually insufficient. And thank you - Moriarty using John as a mouthpiece via glamour was one of the earliest images I had of this story.

With John Watson on the line, Sherlock Holmes does not give up.
