The unending question of Sherlock’s life: who was being stupid now?

My life, too. I UNDERSTAND, SHERLOCK.

God I love this fic. I hope Sherlock isn't about to fuck everything up even worse.

It is a sad, frustrating fate.

Thanks for reading!

Always so happy to see a part, but it always leaves me just wanting the next one. But I am even more confused now than poor Sherlock.

Well, only one more part now, so even if he messes everything up somehow they're bound to put it back together again

Oh dear, confused in what way? Unreliable narrator means I've been straining to maintain clarity, so anything you say will be a help.

Thanks for reading and I hope to get the last part up soon.

Well, there is the mystery I think you are purposely keeping from us (and John): What exactly happened in Sherlock's relationship with Victor, although I gather it was 'a bit not good', to work an overused phrase :-)

And then there is what exactly is going on in John's mind - why he doesn't just come out and say what is bothering him about the relationship, although I guess he figures Sherlock knows, and guys just don't 'talk about relationships'.

And finally, this is the straw, I've no idea what an 'auton' is - so I have to wait for next part to figure out what Sherlock is up to.

But I don't think you should blame yourself as a writer; I'm a pretty dense reader :-) But I'd rather be somewhat mystified until the end than have everything spelled out half a dozen times over. So I hope the next part is posted soon! I love this WIP!

As a writer, I have a tendency to go with the purposefully vague at times, which is what you're seeing with Victor. There are two reasons for this. The first is that people seldom stop in the middle of their day to go over a past experience in great detail. Things are referenced more often than they're explained ( ... )

“What makes you think it was my fault?” he demanded.

Ahaha. Because it's always your fault, Sherlock.

I'm not sure what it is Sherlock has in mind, or where this story is headed, but this was a brilliant chapter. I particularly loved his heart-to-heart talk with Molly, who is so much more emotionally courageous than Sherlock is.

Molly needs more love than she gets. Beware the timid mousy ones, for they are the secret ninjas who climb trees in windstorms and skydive.

Thanks for reading!

"No one was counting the days of John’s absence besides him."

Oh the confusion and the pain... I feel so bad for Sherlock. This was a great chapter!
