Sir William is a great guy. He was one of the people who made me feel welcome after switching societies to the SCA, and I've always felt he sets an example in courtesy.

I miss Drachenwald at times. So many good people.

Glad to hear you had a good time, and lots of sympathy for poor Robert. Sir William sounds like a really good guy. I hope DW will be a very fun and skill-improving event for you.

Oh My! Second surprise of the night on livejournal. Mangy Mongol coffee in Manchester! I attended a lovely class on coffee in the Mangy Mongol given by the wonderful barista who I didn't really know but his coffee kept me alive at Canterbury Faire in New Zealand back in 2008
