Robert took on a greater share of fire-care and cooking this year, which meant less fighting and time on the field. He's still nursing his post-surgery hand, so is being very careful with how much it does

Joel is really enjoying the pewtering. He was quite pleased at beginning referred to as Robert's apprentice in court, it meant to him that Robert appreciates working with him as much as he appreciates it.

(And I went and found a couple of dated spellings of , which I am now using as his "fill in the gap" byname until he picks one himself.)

Sounds like he made is usual best to make the event even more splendid for the attendees. We missed Raglan terribly this year, but it just wasn't going to happen.
