You've possibly already seen this, but Sir Finvarr's blog (in his modern guise as an academic) was my introduction to Wordles, a toy for creating word clouds based on selected text.

Here's Finvarr's post about his wordles, based on his books about Charny's questions - I love the one about the jousts and tournaments.

I think I may be a giant nerd - my first thought was to feed it sections of the rules draft.

(They look quite nice and I may post them somewhere.)

I think that's way cooler than the 1-5 word images that some kids have plugged in! It really takes a large volume of text to generate a meaningful cloud.

I do wonder how young some of those kids are, and what other tools they have access to.
