Fighting, both on and off the ice

Robert was disappointed with his own performance on the field at Coronet, and I have to agree it wasn't his best. However, we've talked the circumstances over a bit, and I think we can see where we both need to work on preparing for tournaments, and freeing both of us up from multiple commitments through an event may be a start.

Did you watch any of the women's hockey? Especially the final between the US and Canada.

For all of Paul's MA training, he has problems in Crown too. Mostly because he "reacts the way he trains", and mostly he is sparring. The problem with that is that he's sort of conditioned not to press the advantage when he has it, and ends up backing away when he shouldn't.
We've had a lot of talks about it, and we've talked to some of the other fighters about making sure every practice has at least one "fight 3 for crown" type exchanges. It's making a difference.

There are other things too, but that's been the biggest.
