Aww...thank you for the kind words. I hereby classify you to be in the sliver of primates that resembles humans. There are many self-proclaimed humans who aspire and fail to achieve even a vertebrate mentality.

If I had the skeelz, I would go fuck with your art.

She's Quite The Fabulous(tm), is who she is!
Bethany lives about ten blocks from me. She and her husband Joe Futrelle are hystical. She's had a MASSIVE influx of business since mid-November, when she started putting her pieces on Etsy.

www.schneertz.com is Joe's website...
The only e-mail I have for Bethany is bethany@bethanycooperdesign.com, since I usually just call her, and she isn't big on answering her e-mails. :)

You can e-mail futrelle@shout.net to get Joe, though, and he'd love to pass on your message. Tell him I sent you.

And nice to meet you!

SIDE NOTE: Did you just rummage through my entries until you found this post? How did you get here?

I found Ms. Cooper on Etsy. I'm going to start putting my own stuff up there, and have been paying close attention to the folks who are moving product to try to pick up on Smart Things To Do, kind of like the way self-publishers in comics look to peeps like Larry Young. (Though I will admit that I'm intrigued by "precious metal clay" -- I had no idea that there *was* such a thing!)

How's she getting the word out, I wonder? I didn't see any message board postings from her at the Usual Places (getcrafty.com, craftster.org, etc). Maybe it's been all word of mouth? Her stuff certainly sells itself!

I found this post because I Googled on "Bethany Cooper Designs". :) I've been aware of you, the Benchilada, for a while now though I totally can't remember how I found you first. Through some comics message board or other. And I've seen you on Leland's LJ entries.

Thanks for the info!
