Well, look at that...it's time for the bastard child of So You Don't Have To, namely...

AND YOU ALSO HAVE TO.

So, you've got an assignment, kids.

You're going to listen to as much of an Alan Watt Podcast as you can.

He's a batshit crazy conspiracy theorist, Scottish but living in Canda.

This guy believes...everything. Like, orbiting mind control lasers ( Read more... )

canada, audience participation, scotland, conspiracy and lies

A little ways east of Bottleda, south of Baghdad.

Oh, no. That was just the sound of my brain sputtering.

I tried though. I'm just....not well right now...and couldn't get it to work, lol.

Ok, I got it to work. Listened to the entire 4/24-"Extreme Society Show" one. From what I actually heard (I tend to space out when I'm listening to talk radio), he was seemingly more intelligent and less monotone than I expected. *shrug*

most comprehensive NWO conspiracy doc I've seen yet. Hella long (150 minutes), but mad bonus points for containing clips of Bill Hicks and George Carlin.

I'll check some out when I get a chance. 2 1/2 hours is usually reserved for Bollywood viewing.

But listen to some Alan Watt for me.

Firefox actually crashed when I tried to listen to it. I could only hear the first couple of minutes after the intro. Therefore, my boyfriend's computer is too liberal for this.

I can see what you meant about the very monotone voice, though.

Maybe I'll try again later...

Yeah, I tend to download his shows onto my computer before listening.

He's...jesus, what is he? He's not liberal, definitely not conservative.

He's like a libertarian/paranoid-schizophrenic?

Oct. 31, 2008 broadcast. Something about a phoenix with two right wings and a drunkard stumbling through time and Brave New World and, and... zzz zzz zzzzzzzz....

Sorry I did try.

Anything deliciously conspiratorial from what you heard?

And I've gotta know more about a phoenix with one wing, because that's actually some great imagery.

Perhaps I'll listen to that one at home.

Perhaps not.

Your life is not your own. Every aspect of your life is controlled by The Man. Even that crap you thought was totally accidental and off the wall.

I think that's what he was trying to say. I'll admit I was phasing out when he mentioned the phoenix.
