I know some of these sound vague, but some are pretty damned clear; a list of things that the Republicans want to remove from the stimulus bill. They also want to cut taxes again at the same time, because you pay for things by making less money.

There are some things I fully agree are totally useless in the bailout bill (I won't even go into how I thought the bailout was a bad idea in the first place) like "A $246 million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy motion picture film" and "$448 million for constructing the Department of Homeland Security headquarters" and "$248 million for furniture at the new Homeland Security headquarters". But there are some, like the clean fuel and energy efficiency initiatives, that I believe are going to cost a lot of money to get off the ground before we'll see a payoff on them, and it's money we need to spend desperately.
