I wrote this a while back for a local publication and thought it might be interesting here. Feel free to ask any and all questions you may have. Remember, I have NO sense of shame or embarassment, so all questions are welcome

I think the word 'moist' is pretty gross. Do you want a Sigur Ros shirt? We print some of their shirts at my job. Just let me know size and I will send one off to you.
I've always liked the word 'ogre', in part because I can't look at it and rationally think "oh-ger". I think "aug ree".
But saying it is great - it just kind of naturally loops and I start thinking "ogreogreogreogreogreogreogreogreogreogreogreogrergergergegegegrgrrrrrr" until it all gets jumbled. OGRE!

This is really interesting. People with autism and Aspies have "stims," which are self-stimulatory behaviors that are often O-C in nature. I pick at my lip, sometimes until it's bleeding. It helps me concentrate. Also I have a specific pattern in which I have to place my hands on the steering wheel when I drive, automatically have to see if any new number I encounter is divisible by three, and all sorts of little fidgety movements that seem inconsequential, like foot-tapping, until I start getting leg cramps from performing the same movement for hours on end.
Funny how completely different neurological disorders can result in such similar symptoms. I'd rather have Asperger's than Tourette's, any day of the week, though. Smacking myself in the forehead and not being able to look people in the eye are as bad as I get on a day-to-day basis (just don't show me stuffing at Thanksgiving, and I'm fine).

They were the first "new" music I'd heard in about a decade...
