Have successfully unshitted my computer, but Outlook keeps dying in the receive part of its send/receive process.

What the shit, yo?

Ugh.

Honestly? I have no fucking clue. We've had issue with our lightsocket(outlook) for about 3 weeks and considering what my firm does, its a wonder they haven't fired our network provider...information, or perhaps our access too it, is what gets dumb shmoes like me our living. Imagine you had an oppurtunity, a REAl viable oppurtunity t make 300k just by sending and email ...and your server client is down.

Oh I know frustration...especially since MY office fees pay people for shit like this NOT to happen...

Awell...

I suppose if I REALL cared I would do something besides complain.

Glad you got shite working...sort of...hope it gets better?

Damn...out of witty response...

ABORT!ABORT!

2 particularly potent Bacardi 151 Cuba libres and a Manhattan make typing hard.

You are having computer troubles but Our Good Friend Booze makes it hard to be concerned.

Wooooooo!

Hm, problem.

Might I recommend getting a Hotmail account, if nothing else than for when Outlook does go tits-up?

I really need an e-mail aggreggator of some sort, though.
I might be getting OFFICE 2007 through Lovely Wife Sara's work...

What is your internet provider? I have Outlook at work and because we have SBC there is this program that we downloaded from them that is some sortof live helpdesk thing and you text message someone in Dubai and they help you fix it.

I've had that problem before where I'm not receiving new emails at work (I actually sortof am sad to fix this problem) and basically it ended up being the Norton Antivirus wanted some attention and we had to restart that in order for it to let new emails through. Check your antivirus and see if that works. If not call your ISP?

And then get a gmail account because you can google your own mail and have g-chat and stuff! Plus it holds like, ungodly amounts of mail for free.
