I've always wondered who ate the snacks you find at Ranch 99. Thanks for clearing up the mystery. This also confirms my theory that asians can make candy out of anything, and frequently do.
Don't tell me you don't have one near you. Ranch 99 is a bastion for all things weird and asian. Last time I bought fish there, I knew it was fresh because it was still swimming around when I picked it out. The guy even asked if I wanted him to kill it for me. Uhm, yeah. Sure. So he pulled out an enormous wooden mallet and bopped it on the head a few times and wrapped it in butcher paper. The thing was still flopping around when he handed it to me.
Their candy and snack aisle is an exercize in bravery. Like the Library in Unseen University, there are parts of that aisle that may direct you to different dimensions in time and space, and there are a few packages that not only have odd odors, but some of them reach out and grab you as you walk by.
oh man, i've acctually tried those (clueless as if they were the same brand or whatever but...yea)!!! I was curious and got a bag. it was quite dreadful, mostly because it's pretty much just eating crab shells...yea...
Yeah, that confounded me a bit, too. I mean, there's not a lot of meat on a crab to begin with, and when you dry that up--making it smaller--but don't remove the shell?
Still, could have been worse. They could have still been alive...
