aww that's cute :) I do the same thing with my boyfriend. Wake up babe, you're gonna be late. So I set the alarm for 15 minutes before he has to get up, because I know he's going to fall right back asleep after he turns it off.
And I wonder why Sara hasn't just taken control of the alarm...except perhaps she's amused by Ben's alarm fumbling and doesn't want to take her waking-up fun away.
This is why Tom is in charge of the alarm at home. He wakes up with the alarm, gets up, putters around a bit, then gets back in bed to wake me up with a snuggle. Then I STILL lie there for five minutes deciding if it's worth it to be alive. I'm SO bad at waking up. I used to have to set two alarms, both on the other side of the room, to force me out of bed.
I went all OCD checking my alarm 15 times, only to disable/kill/ I don't even know what happened the next day, when I woke up 10 minutes after I was supposed to be at the kid I watch's house.
I have serious trouble waking up and have even been told by Sara that I once started simply repeatedly slapping the nightstand in an attempt to turn off the alarm.
And like you, I check and recheck the alarm about four times.
I feel much sympathy for your wake-up troubles. What I really hate is when I have to get up early in the morning, so my brain decides to panic about the alarm not going off properly and starts waking me up every 30 minutes, oh, about 2 HOURS before I actually have to get up. Then, when the alarm finally goes off, I am dead to the world. No fair.
