Spider-Girl is actually pretty darn good comics, if you like yours old skool Marvel.
And All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder is fantastic. I really don't understand what people expected out of Frank Miller. It's BatNoir, m'man. It's fine if that doesn't float your boat, but it's executed beautifully.
Alf and Thunderstrike are crap.
The Popples could be amazing if Grant Morrison got his hands on 'em.
"Right, so I see the Pohpples as a sor' a' metaphor for what we're all doooing to ourselves, or rather, what we shooodn't be doooing to ourselves. When you take the essence of what it is to be hyoooman, and you distill tha' into a form of cosmic resonance, who isn't trying to turn themselves inside of their own being? And wit' the Pohpples I want to show people tha' we don' have to reach inside when we can reach outside..."
Obviously, you have good taste in LJ friends, because every single person we have in common is comprised of quarks, protons, and neutrons of fabulousness.
A question that will now consume my interest and attention to my dying day.
And every week they'll tell you that your Miracleman trades have come in.
You are cruel, good sir.
Speaking of Miracles, randomly, I saw that some witty wag on the internets - I think it was Chris on the Amazing Super-Blog - said that Scott McKeever taking over Birds of Prey means it'll turn into Big Barda Loves Scott Free. Which wouldn't be a bad thing in my opinion?

And Spider-Girl is...a perfect comic for getting young people into comics.
Or the four people who actually buy a comic because it says Tom DeFalco wrote it.
