What? WHAT?
Dude, you work on Iron Wok Jan? That's my favorite Manga ever! I only have vol. 1,2 and 5, but they are AMAZIN' good. How do you keep from losing your mind from the AWESOMNESS?

AND: Volume twenty-one? FUCK! (gotta catch 'em all?)

I fucking LOVE the SHIT out of it. I do a lot of freelance editing for DrMaster.

I've been editing IWJ for at least the last ten volumes, maybe more, and v.23 is sitting on my laptop at home.

Its awesome is exceeding only by its WHAT THE SHIT?! quotient.

FACT: In volume 21, Jan is at a cooking competition. He DIVES INTO A TANK FULL OF SHARKS AND KICKS ONE OUT SO HE CAN COOK IT.

When I open the .pdf, my computer's fans have to spin faster, or the fucker would CATCH on FIRE.

These are my jobs:

1) Full-time employee at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library, about the 5th largest in the nation. I answer phones and deal with patron problems, requests, et cetera in the morning and catalog and repair books in the afternoon.

2) Freelance editor for DrMaster Publications, for whom I've edited everything from video-game based kung-fu books to Iron Wok Jan to Rahxephon novelizations.

3) Freelance writer for Viz, for whom I occasionally write non-fiction filler bits to go between manga chapters in Shonen Jump.

I'm also working my ass off to get this Sir Reginald shit going hardcore.
And I need to get back to sellable-without-art prose...
