Is Bite Club good? What is the storyline like? And how is that crossover going? I got a sample on free comic book day. It looked good.

Bite Club is definitely not for everybody. The first one had plotline after plotline threaded together. This second one is crime-oriented, and not as good to me...

Crossover?

I buy a lot of comics, yeah.
Thankfully, about three or four of the ones you see are parts of limited series.
Sure, one is 52 week limited series, but...

I got into FABLES too late, so I read the trades...can't remember if I saw it there or not.

I love that aves_ives's RIVAL SCHOOLS came out, though.

I used to love that game, and he brings the same Sharknife/Peng vibe to it.

I made myself a promise during college (when I had to cut WAY back on my comic buying) - one day I would have a job and lifestyle that allowed me to walk into the comic shop every Wednesday and buy EVERYTHING that I wanted to buy. It's the small dreams that come true.

Yeah, Sara and I have FINALLY hit the compromise that I'm NOT going to stop buying comics, so I'll use my own excess funds for them, but won't cut back. I cut back when books suck.

Also, I'll have a sentence/concept for you soon.

No, no, no, that was just THIS week's books. I get All-Star Superman. Currently I have about 80 books on my pull-list. 80. I average 17 books a week, sometimes as high a 28.

Man, I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed of that last sentence...
