Back then, women used adhesive pieces of black felt to cover smallpox scars. Pretty common in the late-17th and 18th centuries amongst the European nobility.

Well, if you believe the Colombian theory of syphilis, it's the Native Americans' revenge on the colonizers who gave them smallpox, which in itself is said to have been contracted from Africa and other southern colonies. And that's pretty nifty, too, from a purely diabolical tit-for-tat perspective.

I love run-on sentences.

Guh.

It's fucking early, I didn't have any real coffee (only some FakeOr Coffee™ made of wheat and sand and dried figs... or something) so my funny glands haven't quite reached their peak.

I just thought "knowing FakeOr" could probably be considered as being a bit geeky... thus hurting ones "street cred".

I will eat anything that is not a tomato.
