But now it is, right? Nothing like having it come up randomly whilst stomping around downtown C or U.
It's goddamned empowering, it is...
Did you see the remastered, re-subtitled GODZILLA when it was at the Art? I had actually driven to Chicago a month before to see it, since I didn't know the Art was getting it.
My friend Shannon and I ate sushi at Hinode next door and drank Way Too Much Sake before the movie. It was brilliant.
It is definitely on my iPod now, yes indeedy. I did see Godzilla when it was at the New Art. In factl, I think I dragged my man there for the opening performance, because I grew up hating Raymond Burr for adding so much annoying incongruity to what otherwise appeared to be a beauty of a monster flick.
Now, eating sushi at Hinode, I can't get with ya on that one. That place scares me, as does most sushi in this town.
*sigh* and now M-A misses his secret post MTV-check thursdays of buying DVDs months before they were supposed to come out, getting some sushi in a hidden away shop, filling up on sake and stumbling his way into a cab to go home, smoke up and watch sci-fi. Thanks a lot, Stone *pummels*
Gigan just takes those dives for the money. The Man don't like to see the kaiju space cyborg winning on the big screen. The Man is keeping the kaiju space cyborg down!
The man will be greatly missed, even though he hasn't done any more new G-music this millenium. And I do actually have two of his pieces on my ipod at the moment, as well as several CDs of his work. Yeah, I liked his stuff a lot. Without his music Godzilla wouldn't even be half as cool as he is. It's all in the bass, man.
