Scientists Find CoolStanford, CA: Low-temperature plasma scientists at Stanford University have identified the "Cool Temperature". The Cool Temperature is the weather temperature at which everyone looks cool. "We decided that it must be cold enough to avoid people wearing shorts," said Stanford professor Stan McFord, "since no one looks cool in shorts. We also found that winter jackets aren't cool, so the temperature couldn't be too cold." Dr. McFord came to his conclusions via rigorous temperature-dependent x-ray spectroscopy studies performed on proteins and DNA for a contract with the Department of Defense. The Cool Temperature was calculated via these studies to be around 69.7 degrees Fahrenheit. Other findings during the course of the study included
