Sir Reginald Is Smarter Than You

“To this day,” Sir Reginald said, “I am still astonished at how much of my life is influenced by firearms.”
“Shut your mouth and hold the book still,” Karl replied, pushing the .45 into Sir Reginald’s stomach.

Just wanted you to know I'm really enjoying the Sir Reginald series. Thank you.

That makes me very happy to hear.
I'm deciding whether I could shoehorn these shorts into a one-or-two-shot comic, or whether I should use them as a springboard for a longer one.

Perhaps, if grafunkel reads this, he could do me a sketchy impression of what he thinks Sir Reginald looks like...

Erm...

I already have a sketchy sketch of him amongst a pile of other sketchy sketches of... stuff... lying beside my PC.

...

Teehee. :-p

Once again Sir Reginald does not disappoint. The ending with the trembling hands was my favorite. That and the author of the book being an anagram of Sir Reginald. I definitely think Sir Reg could be worked into a comic form, sort of a Dr. Strange meets John Constantine meets the Punisher.

I really like this one, also because of the tremblig hands. I think I was making him into too much of a cold bastard, and I didn't want Constantine, I wanted a slightly portly gentleman who is occasionally freaked out by things...not that he'd ever lose his composure in front of anybody, of course.

And good call on the writer of the book. Not that subtle of me, but hey...it worked.

Well, I think its often human nature to compare things to others so that our brains can easily digest them. I guess the Punisher is thrown in there because he knows how to kill people in weird twisted ways that are sometimes convoluted but quite interesting ~

I have not commented so far as I have simply been enjoying the story, but damn Ben, that was very nice.

I want a spell to make things smell of ham.

Also: I saw God of Gamblers the other night. You were right: it is phenomenally delicious. You would approve of the local video-vendor's selection, on which note, I recommend: "Pistol Opera", the new version (which is a remake by the same director).

That was kinda born out of a discussion with chuckdawg and Sara about a bacon-scented candle...which we later discovered actually exists.

Pistol Opera is very interesting.
The original, Branded to Kill is really good...

But not as good, in my brain, as Tokyo Drifter, which is just the kicker of asses.

There are garlic scented candles too, if you want to sound like an entire French meal.
