I won't count my chickens until they hatch! I know he's super busy. I don't want him to make special arrangements for little ol' me you know.

But bloody hell, hope he doesn't have to dash off as soon as I'm in the US.

Aussie wine is on the way btw.

Hope to see you there, Ben. One of these days maybe we'll get to talk for more than 5 minutes.

Then again, probably not. Heh.

Well the (sorta) good news is that I'm not doing Artist Alley this year, and my signings are only for 3-4 hours a day which means I'll have more time to stalk..er...look you up. Maybe even coordinate which bars we'll be at..or something.

Fuck, I can't believe it's next week already. So. Un. Prepared.

I originally posted this comment over on the message board, but figured you might be more likely to see it here first than over there:

Heya Ben,

It's too bad I won't get a chance to meet you at the SDCC. The reasons are too numerous as to why I couldn't fly out there (money, time, school, work, money, etc.), but I couldn't help noticing you said you'll be in New York on business. If the dates worked out I'd love to meet you there. We could visit the Museum of Modern Art and go out for lunch. I'd even bring my wife so it would be a double-date. Smile

Anyway, maybe I'm just delusional thinking you'd take the time to meet a crazed fan, but I've got nothing to lose by asking...except my dignity.

So when and for how long will you be in New York??
