The Conluvio stuff is SO crisp and clear. I REALLY shows your style... and it's more manga/cartoony than I thought... brilliant.

It varies throughout the book really but yup, quite a bit more in that sort of style. :-)

Uhm, Ben, old boy....

I was wondering, would it be possible for you to do stuff with [ahem] slightly less dominant red? I ask because I am colourblind and it makes some of your delightful art [such as the first half of Wormy 5] a big blur of, well, nothing in particular.

Of course I fully understand if your response to this is 'No. Bugger of, gitwipe'. It would be entirely within your rights to say so and I would still love you anyway and buy all your shiny things.
I simply hate not being able to see your work properly, is all =)

A good day to you and yours, Sir

ps. Conluvio is shaping up fabulously and I am ever so glad to have already pre-ordered a copy. Now tempted to buy MonkeyJuice 1&2 [mostly for sketching tips, really]

Sorry man, the art is my master, I an not the master of it! I just have to do what it dictates. No pages in Wormy should be qie so red in the future....unless he happens upon some more bloody battlefields in his nostalgic recollections, but I got stuck doing nothing but blueish washes on my stuff for the longest time. Red isn't my favourite colour though so I promise there shouldn't be all that much in the future. Not so insensly at least.

No need to be sorry. In fact, I insist that you should never be sorry again. So there.

In truth, the fact that you hardline all your detail [which kicks, btw] means I get to see the important bits, just miss the lovely textures you somehow fit into the colour washes.
I just re-read S7 again and it still makes me happy.

Question: in Tommyrot there's a man with swords and a big round-ended zip or two.. what's he from? He looks *ace* but I don't recall seeing him elsewhere
