It also helps to build a rapport with your local comic shop and shell out the extra $5 a month to buy yourself the latest copy of PREVIEWS and have them pre-order the smaller indie books. Which is exactly what I do. I've been gonig to the same comic shop since I was 12 (I'm now 28).
