Update on the next live-action flick?

If you've been following this, you've probably already seen it.  However, it looks as though the actors and actresses for Kevin, Gwen, and someone named Elena have been chosen.  Still not seeing a Ben, though.  I figured he'd be up because he was in the commercial, but my logic clearly has no place on imdb.

Nathan Keyes? *sighs* Well, I guess it was too much for me to hope that they'd just pop some black hair dye on Greg Cipes, huh? That voice of his is what I associate Kevin with now, so it's hard for me to accept anyone else...but, maybe Greg's too old. XD Nathan Keyes is cute. We'll see.

Galadriel Stineman...guh, I hope her smile's pretty, because she is attractive, but that FACE she's making makes her look...totally unappealing. I hope Ben turns out cute.

I had a horrible dream the other night that they picked Zac Efron to be Ben. I was HORRIFIED. By the way, d'you think they'll have Paradox in that movie? Cuz I've seen the guy who voices him on NCIS and he even LOOKS like Paradox...that'd be cool...I'm talking a lot...

Yes! Ducky! It's because of him that I absolutely adore Paradox. I've always loved Ducky's lines, and they are SOOOO much like Paradox's lines sometimes, aren't they? ^^ W00t! NCIS!

Hmm... I think Kevin looks older then Naythan. I know Kevin is 16 and all but he looks older then that. And the guys nose isnt Jewish looking lol. Gwen looks kinda chubby in the face too... the Ben in the commercial, his body looks like hes maybe older then 17... I want Ben to be skinny and easy for Kevin to carry around. which im hoping he might. heh heh *wink wink* eh eh? you think they might put in some subtle gay moments for us?

Nathan Keyes is cute, yeah, but he lacks Kevin's grossly exaggerated muscle structure (No, really. What's up with those shoulders? I mean, he could give Harry Mason a run for his money in obscenely weird shoulder to hip ratio. What the hell?)

Plus, yeah. Where's the giant Barbara Streisand nose?

Maybe the Ben in the commercial only looked bigger because of his bulky leather jacket (Green leather...I'm not sure how I feel about this.)

As for subtle gay moments...We can only hope. Right now, I'm more focuses on "Will Kevin's car ACTUALLY be a 1976 model at the very least?" Because if it isn't so help me I'll launch on an internet tirade that will do absolutely no good to anybody.

I do like Gwen's actress though. She's very pretty. A little young looking though.

Hmm, I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, there's going to be a live action film of Alien Force. Yay! On the other hand, live action films tend to suck. :P

Unless the "Ben" in the commercial was just a warm body for the sake of letting us know that there will be a live action movie, I figured that the actor would be listed by now...

Say what you will, but I liked the last live-action movie, mostly because it cast Ben in a less bratty light than the cartoon did. ^^;

No clue about this Elena character. If she's Ben's "love interest" in the flick, I'm going to go out and find a small child to take out my misdirected rage on. I hear elementary schools are full of them, so I might start there.

And what's this about M. Knight casting for a live-action Avatar movie?

They probably did just use some random guy to make the commercial. Otherwise, like you said, the actor playing Ben would have been listed by now.

LOL! Okay, I'll admit that the first live-action film wasn't too bad but the bad acting still made me wince a couple of times when I was watching it. At least we got Ben's hippie parents out of it though. That's something. ^o^

You know, she probably is Ben's love interest in the film. But maybe, she'll also turn out to be the villain of the film. Dun! Dun! Dun! Have they done the "Girlfriend is the Bad Guy" cliché in Ben 10 yet? Although, I guess you can say that Kevin kinda fulfilled that cliché. LOL!

A summary of the whole debacle can be read in this article. I don't know what's worse. The fact that they cast white actors to play Sokka and Katara, who clearly AREN'T white, or the fact that they're actually considering casting Jesse McCartney as Zuko. XP

Unless it's all a gag to throw hardcore fans off the scent and the Avatar movie turns out to be great...In which case, the internet will eat their words and look like a big bunch of jerks. XD
