Fic: Transformers/Ben 10

Okay, second post EVER (on here). Yay? You might remember me, my first one being about my glee and jealousy over Ben 10 alien shorts and Kev/Ben loving (The S.A.H.B.A. Event) . Well, I like it, though I wasn't much a fan of the Transformer movies. I like action, but it just wasn't for me. Good luck with continuing it, yes? :)

I was in it for the giant robots; and the giant robot/boy loving. AKA, me, yes, I is Sam/Bumblebee lover. This story has that too.

(Meant to reply earlier, but life escapes me a lot these days.) I have friends who like it, but it freaks me out a bit, sorry. I might continue reading, I dunno. I like your writing, don't get me wrong, but I never really got into Transformers and how can I read a story if I don't know half the characters?

It's alright if you don't, you really won't hurt my feelings or anything, but I'm not really going to be writing a lot about the whole Transformer/Human aspect, I'm trying to "learn" to write in Ben 10, while also learning how to write in Transformers, neither of which I've ever written in before. This is mostly a experiment; as for the Transformers themselves, I have to look up all the names except Bumblebee, and maybe Optimus Prime, otherwise I get them confused. So they'll probably take a backseat once I get them out of the way with the whole "Kev' your daddy was fighting a war with giant robots"....-snickers-.... either way, glad you liked the first chapter!

Ahmmmmmmm. Well. I think you just spoiled the second Transformers movie for me, but I was planning on seeing it this week anyway.

I think you might want to reconsider the summary and write a different one. The one you have now seems a little wonky.

Also, heads up. If you're going to continue linking or posting the rest of the fic's chapters (which I fully suggest you do), make sure you've got yourself a wee bit of Kevin/Ben in there. It doesn't have to be major, it doesn't even need to be in every chapter, but it's got to be in there somewhere. This is a Bevin community, so it should be the main thing we post about. I'm only saying this because your current first chapter is making me queasy with the Gwevin-y hints and bits. Gwevin is a sure-fire way to get you booted around here. And I don't want to enforce the pitchfork rule from the community's profile page. D:

But otherwise, it's got a pretty shnazzy premise and I will try to read your next segment when you get it up!

Really? Heh, well, its supposed to show misplaced affection for Ben in Gwen, sort of a reason/explanation of why Kevin cares about Ben and Gwen, but it's only the start, I was much more concerned with trying to keep it neutral; because I do occasionally write and read incest, and I had a horrible feeling when I started writing this that Kev's "Daddy" issues would crop up in the worst sort of way, and while I have no problem reading it, and writing that Kev starts to realize dad issues are manifesting in odd guy-love, because Sam is going to try to do the "right thing" really late and it ends up sort of like a big brother/boyfriend/dad situation

Also, forgot to address the summary issue with all the worry over flaming pitch-fork attacks and banning.

Can you help, I sort of know it sounds odd, but I don't really know how to fix it, maybe you have better insight after having read the chapter?

Hmmm. I think it's all the mentioning of ages in the summary. It's too complicated.

Just make it something simpler and focus on the potential wackiness that will ensue once Kevin finally meets his pop. And try to mention that his mom is Mikaela. I think we can assume that his father will be Sam once you establish Mikaela and the Autobots through that laptop video message.
